DEBASHREE ROY PRESENTS BANGLA GAURAV SAMMAN AWARD TO MANIE
Renowned actress Debashree Roy presented the Bangla Gaurav Samman Award 2024 to the super talented South Indian actor Manie. Manie received the award for his significant contribution to Indian cinema.
Manie is a versatile actor who has won two national and two state awards in the past too.
Maharashtra Gaurav Samman award was conferred to him at a relatively young age. Then Manie received the Bengal Excellence award along with Late Suchitra Sen(posthumously) and Mamata Shankar.
Legendary music director Bappi Lahiri collaborated with Manie to record a playback in Manie’s voice, thus making him the first south Indian film actor to sing a song in Bengali. This rare feat of Manie is mentioned in the INDIA BOOK OF RECORDS as they presented and honoured him with the trophy, certificate and momento.
Manie also received a National award with the cricketing superstar Sachin Tendulkar.
Manie was also bestowed the prestigious
Param Shree award for his outstanding contribution to Indian cinema.
The Bangla Gaurav Samman Award 2024 added new heights in Manie’s stature. Manie seemed very happy to get this award.
Aside from being a gifted actor, Manie is a philanthropist, ambitious, successful, strapping, fashionable and humanist too.
Manie is presently doing films in Tamil, Hindi and Bengali.
